About the Program
Sponsored by Study NSW, UON Glocal Internship Program aims at offering UON international students the opportunity to participate in internship projects and gain work experience while studying in Newcastle. The objective of the Program is to integrate global perspectives with local practice for international students.

Who can apply?
UON international students, both undergraduate and post-graduate. Final year students will be given priority.
Timeframe (Subject to change):
July 2, 2018: Prior training (+/- 3 Hours)
July 3-6, 2018: Project brief and possible site visit to host organizations (+/- 4 Hours)
July 9-12, 2018 Team meetings for planning and Business Plan Outline (+/-12 Hours)
July 13, 2018 Present Business Plan Outline and mentor feedback (+/-1 Hour)
July 16-24, 2018 Team meetings and finalizing Business Plan (+/-21 Hours)
July 25 2018 Formal presentation of project findings, conclusion of project (+/-3 Hours)
Total time commitments: +/- 44 Hours

Application Deadline: May 31, 2018
Internship offer period: June 1-15, 2018. Students who do not receive any news within two weeks after the application deadline will be considered as unsuccessful.
